At Unity, our mission is to assist our patients in achieving their best life. This is accomplished by offering high quality behavioral and wellness services while reducing and addressing social barriers to care through our comprehensive array of services.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) includes a multidisciplinary, clinical team: the program’s psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, nurses, licensed professional counselors, licensed clinical social workers., and case managers. Members of this team meet with the individual to assess their needs. A licensed therapist is assigned to the individual’s care, with support from the clinical team. The care provided is customized to meet the individual’s specific needs, as are resources to foster a lasting recovery. This program is provided 5 days per week.
Led by a team of skilled and caring professionals, our intensive outpatient program, or IOP, offers clients high-quality care and structure while allowing them to live at home. Intensive outpatient programs for individuals who are in need of treatment at a lower level of care than PHP with group therapy as the main treatment method, but other forms of care are offered, such as individual, family, or experiential therapies. Unity Behavioral uses evidence-based, innovative treatment services to provide individuals with the life-changing care that guides them in their path to healing. This program is provided 3 days per week.
Our case management services offer a collaborative process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the options and services required to meet our patient's health and human service needs. Based on your needs and in collaboration with all service providers, our case manager will link you with appropriate providers and resources throughout the continuum of health and human services and care settings, while ensuring that the care provided is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
Our individual therapy is a joint process between our therapist and the person in therapy. Therapy can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. Many find they enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware.
